English - Greek Nursery - Kindergarten Step by Step in Karea - Vyrona
Step by Step is a licensed bilingual Nursery and Preschool that has been welcoming young learners since 2003.
We provide a warm, inclusive and developmentally rich environment for children aged 2 to 6 years, where learning develops naturally through curiosity, creativity and meaningful play.
Our educational approach is based on a bilingual, child-centred curriculum with a strong multicultural perspective.
We encourage children to express themselves confidently, explore their interests, and develop essential skills that prepare them for the next stage of school life.
Our experienced educators support each child’s individual journey and work closely with families to create a positive and nurturing school experience.
At Step by Step, our goal is to help children build strong social, emotional and cognitive foundations in an environment where they feel safe, valued and inspired to learn every day
PHILOSOPHY & VALUES
We value warm relationships, bilingual communication, experiential learning, independence, confidence and close collaboration with families.
DAILY INFORMATION
- The school does not provide meals. Children should bring a healthy mid-morning snack from home.
- Lunch must also be provided from home and will be heated if required.
- Step by Step Preschool does not offer a nap/rest period, as the daily programme follows a structured educational routine.
- The school operates independently and does not participate in the ESPA programme.
Our Bilingual Approach
At Step by Step, we believe that growing up with two languages gives children a valuable head start in life. English and Greek are naturally integrated into everyday school life through play, stories, songs and engaging learning activities. As children progress into kindergarten, they begin learning to read and write, developing strong early literacy skills alongside their bilingual education. Our warm and supportive approach helps children become confident communicators, independent learners and enthusiastic explorers. For parents, this means knowing their child is gaining not only the benefits of two languages, but also the confidence, knowledge and skills needed for a smooth and successful transition to primary school.
